During Summer 2019, Danny worked to create a foundation for YSS University by gathering information about current training opportunities, organizing the data, and developing materials to better present these opportunities to staff.
During Summer 2019, Annie created a program evaluation plan for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa. The evaluation plan will act as a guide for BGCCI staff to use data to make more informed decisions for improved program quality.
During Summer 2019, Linh worked to support Variety - the Children’s Charity’s mobility program by identifying areas of improvement, locating recipients for bikes for a special fundraiser, and assisting with the different steps of the mobility program over the summer.
Kathlyn worked as a Feeding the Future Project Fellow at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa where she expanded the food pantries to all 8 club locations in the Greater Des Moines area.
Alyssa worked as a Program Evaluation Fellow at YSS where she worked to evaluate the organization’s metrics and form a comprehensive tracking system to measure program impact over the next five years.
Lisa worked as a Corporate Partner Volunteer and Events Fellow at Genesys Works NYC to coordinate and execute a wide variety of skill development and experiential events and activities for underserved youth seeking professional development opportunities.
Imani worked with Latino U College Access (LUCA) as a College Prep Program Fellow where she supported the Class of 2023 with the college application process.
Alliyah worked as a College Prep Program Fellow at South Bronx United to support the Class of 2023 high school seniors with the college application process.
Teresa worked with Almost Fun as a Social Media fellow where she developed a strategic social media and outreach plan to increase student and teacher community engagement.
Emma worked with Almost Fun as a Social Media fellow where she helped develop a strategic social media and outreach plan to increase organizational visibility and grow their student-teacher community online.
Myriah Martin worked as a Student Newspaper Editor Bootcamp Project Fellow at Press Pass NYC where she supported with executing a one-week pilot program that serves high school students by preparing them to assume leadership roles on their school newspaper staff
Abigail supported with creating content for a continuing legal education program to educate family court personnel on the impacts that parental alienation and estrangement have on children’s behavior.
During Fall 2020, Antolina worked as the High School Program fellow with South Bronx United, where she assisted in planning and facilitating academic lessons. She also conducted school outreach and academic data collection.
During Fall 2020, Tina worked with Iowa Center for Children’s Justice, where she helped create surveys to evaluate their services in legal representation for children in high-conflict custody cases, education and alternative dispute resolution including child-focused mediation, and divorce.
Deanna developed a strategic communications plan for Jewels Academy to advertise their upcoming fundraiser and increase social media engagement around a new program developed with the University of Iowa Jacobson Institute BizInnovator curriculum.
Over the Summer, Jazmine worked with South Bronx United to implement, support and augment various projects for the 2021 Summer Soccer Scholars program.
