SUMMARY
Antolina worked with high school students in grades 9-11 with South Bronx United, where she supported in planning and facilitating academic courses on adjustment to high school, as well as Math and ELA courses. She also conducted school outreach and academic data collection, specifically of transcripts.
OVERVIEW
Supported the implementation of Hybrid Academic Programming, with both in-person and virtual academic sessions
Assisted with program management of in-person and virtual sessions
Collected, reviewed, and entered data from student transcripts to track progress
Tracked challenges and successes of school outreach to develop best practices guide
Formalized academic data collection process, and developed best practices to enhance student-informed program planning
Updated the existing network of guidance counselors of South Bronx United Students’ to foster better collaboration for college preparation
IMPACT
80 students have been impacted directly, and 170 youth are projected to be impacted in the near future.
