SUMMARY
Diamond worked on updating staff training materials for the Fiver U program to support leadership skill-building. Additionally, she developed a curriculum for the Skill Enhancement and Employee Development (SEED) leadership training program; designed to improve the quality of programming for youth by having better trained staff.
OVERVIEW
Reviewed existing staff training program, communicated with staff members to assess organization’s needs, and researched best practices for staff training
Created a 3-year calendar with key dates and workshops
Detailed workshop agendas and facilitation plan deadlines for the next 3 years
Updated staff development plans by creating a growth plan and a leadership assessment form
Developed the leadership track curriculum, which included 4 workshops with detailed curriculums and lesson objectives.
Curated social media content to raise awareness about the new program and recruit applicants
IMPACT
SEED officially launched in September 2021 and will impact 400 youth through an increase in program quality over time, and the additional opportunity to receive professional leadership training.
