During Summer 2019, Danny worked to create a foundation for YSS University by gathering information about current training opportunities, organizing the data, and developing materials to better present these opportunities to staff.
During Summer 2019, Annie created a program evaluation plan for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa. The evaluation plan will act as a guide for BGCCI staff to use data to make more informed decisions for improved program quality.
During Summer 2019, Linh worked to support Variety - the Children’s Charity’s mobility program by identifying areas of improvement, locating recipients for bikes for a special fundraiser, and assisting with the different steps of the mobility program over the summer.
During Fall 2020, Kaitlyn worked with Variety - the Children’s Charity of Iowa, where she created a sustainable program evaluation process for Variety’s Mobility and Compassion Fund programs.
During Fall 2019, Lacee Lynn B worked with Iowa Department of Human Rights Division of Criminal and Juvenile Justice Planning. She assisted with the development of a juvenile reentry report and an online service inventory.
During Fall 2019, Danny Cook worked with Kids First Law Center (now Iowa Center for Children’s Justice) to develop a database of mental health providers related to family law.
During Fall 2019, Dr. Ian Flatt worked to create a partnership between Drake University and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa to focus on their music program.
During Fall 2019, Roslyn worked with YSS to develop a section of YSS's website to have information about creating Teens Against Human Trafficking teams accessible online.
During Fall 2019, Kai Joy worked with 826CHI, focusing on teen and volunteer outreach. She identified how to expand volunteer outreach efforts and interviewed teens to learn how to focus 826CHI's teen recruiting efforts.

During Fall 2018, Brianne worked as a Curriculum Development Fellow, which involved surveying youth and researching best practices to create improvements to two youth programs, Iowa Youth Congress and State Advisory Council of Iowa.
Kendra worked on YSS University, which included developing a plan for implementation based on the needs of various stakeholders, YSS 101 (an orientation program), and a course catalogue.
Gabbie worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa to develop a three-year curriculum for the Workplace Mentor program for middle school participants.
Lavanyaa worked with YSS and Iowa State University to create a 10-year plan for the development of a Collegiate Recovery Community to provide a support for those who are or were in recovery.
During Summer 2018, Josh worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa to develop a framework for a mentoring program through partnerships with local universities, a sports clinic, and an assessment tool for their health program.
During Spring 2018, Jenna worked to develop an Alumni Network for YSS’s Residential Treatment programs. She transformed it into a Recovery Network based on the needs of those leaving the Residential Treatment program.
During Fall 2017, Denisha helped YSS pilot their redesign of a youth conference, Risky Business, into an action summit that focused on youth-adult partnerships and creating change within local communities.
During Summer 2017, Alex worked to create three years of curricula for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa’s program called Opportunities for Post-Secondary Success.
