Summary

Brianne worked with Iowa Department of Human Rights in relation to the State of Iowa Youth Advisory Council and Iowa Youth Congress, which provide youth the opportunity to gain hands-on education in state government, democracy, advocacy, leadership and civic engagement. Brianne surveyed youth to identify how to improve the programs and how the programs can better align with best practices for positive youth development.
