Summary
Hazel’s project primarily focused on family engagement for new and existing Club families. It involved collecting feedback from Club leadership staff at Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland as well as other staff involved in the family engagement and coordination process. She focused on resource development in the form of a physical parent handbook and conduct rules. She developed the handbook by working with staff to develop clear information and guidelines on organizational policies and services available to youth. She also started the process of coordinating an overnight event at the Oregon Zoo called the ZooSnooze.
