Elliott Copeland with Fiver Children's Foundation

Summary

Elliott worked to raise health awareness in youth at Camp Fiver that they could bring back to life in New York City. The goal of his work was to help youth participants understand the various components of healthy living and why it is important. He did this by creating a curriculum for a cooking class where youth experimented making healthy snacks together. Elliott also created a curriculum for the sports programming. He implemented both these curriculums throughout the summer. Finally, he helped obtain new and safe athletics equipment for participants in future years at Camp Fiver.
