Fellowship Projects: West Coast
During Fall 2018, Paola worked with IRCO to develop additional Global Cooking Class curricula and identifying areas of improvement in the Fresh Food Pantries.
Rachel developed a database of community resources for Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland’s staff, Members, and families during Fall 2018.
During Summer 2018, Asalia worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland to enhance their teen leadership program, Youth of the Year, by developing interactive workshops based on the needs of the teens.
Rachel developed a social-emotional assessment tool for 6-8 year old Members at Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland over Summer 2018.
During Spring 2018, Bayo developed and facilitated focus groups for Financial Beginnings Oregon to incorporate the voices of the communities they work with.
During Fall 2017, Jarlisa worked to assess, improve, and expand a teen leadership and civic engagement recognition program.
Hazel worked on enhancing Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland’s family engagement methods by developing resources during Summer 2017.
During Fall 2016, Tara led the efforts to implement a health initiative called, Sqord, focusing on wearable fitness devices and expanding the Healthy Lifestyles programming.
Leah worked to expand Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland’s Healthy Lifestyles youth programs by restructuring and adding program resources during Summer 2016.
During Summer 2015, Kayla developed a youth volunteerism program and coordinated the ZooSnooze for Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland.
During Fall 2019, Cleo Bethel worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland on communications for their sports program, Leadership Leagues.
