Summary
Katelyn’s project was to implement and create a community garden club at Boys & Girls Club of Provo. She spent half of Club time tending the garden and the other half in a classroom setting, where she facilitated discussion with youth around science, health, and the impact of the garden. Additionally, Katelyn helped run a Physical Education/Game Rotation. The gym portion was an extension of the health promotion in the physical realm. She organized games, activities, and sports for the children.
