Summary
Ashley’s project was to develop an active summer camp for Boys & Girls Club of Magic Valley. Three weeks out of the summer, 36 children attended the “Adventure Games Summer Camp.” For this, participants went kayaking, biking, hiking, zip lining, and to an outdoor challenge ropes course. The goal of the project was demonstrate and practice teamwork. Additionally, the goal was to help the children realize there are many ways to be active and that physical fitness and teamwork extends beyond just running in their local community.
