Rima is from Story City, Iowa and currently resides in Iowa City, Iowa, where she is pursuing her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa. She is working toward a double major in Political Science and Ethics and Public Policy, along with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Philanthropy. A current senior, Rima will graduate in May 2027 and plans to attend law school the following academic year, with the goal of building a career rooted in advocacy and public service. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and staying actively involved in her community, particularly through her work with mission-driven nonprofits like Pursuit of Innovation, the fellowship organization she will be working with this summer. She looks forward to contributing to their mission and making a meaningful impact.
